Will she force her ideal birth on me?

The goal of every doula is to help you have a positive, safe, and satisfying birth experience. What that means for you may be different based on what you find positive and satisfying. I like to think that no matter what choices a mother makes, I preserve her right to choose what she sees is the best option for her. I also strive for every mother to have a positive view of her birth and have only happy memories of the day she meets her child. You will always have decision-making power over what happens to you at your birth.
